Warranty Period
All Velvet & Timber furniture comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty (original purchaser only, non-transferable) from the date of delivery.
What’s Covered
Defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use:
- Solid wood frame structural damage (cracks, breaks, or warping).
- Upholstery issues (velvet/chenille fabric peeling, tearing, or loose stitching—not from wear/tear).
- Defective hardware (screws, hinges, or connectors that fail to function).
- Cushion foam sagging/flattening (not caused by misuse or heavy use beyond weight limits).
What’s Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear (minor fabric fading, slight cushion softening, or surface scratches).
- Damage from misuse, accidents, improper assembly, or harsh cleaning products.
- Damage caused by pets (scratching, chewing) or exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Modifications to the product (reupholstering, refinishing) without prior approval.
Warranty Claim Process
- Email support@velvetandtimber.com with:
- Order number
- Photos/videos of the defect
- Detailed description of the issue
- Our team reviews within 3 business days.
- Approved claims receive free replacement parts, repair service, or a partial refund (at our discretion).
