Warranty Period

All Velvet & Timber furniture comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty (original purchaser only, non-transferable) from the date of delivery.

What’s Covered

Defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use:
  • Solid wood frame structural damage (cracks, breaks, or warping).
  • Upholstery issues (velvet/chenille fabric peeling, tearing, or loose stitching—not from wear/tear).
  • Defective hardware (screws, hinges, or connectors that fail to function).
  • Cushion foam sagging/flattening (not caused by misuse or heavy use beyond weight limits).

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear (minor fabric fading, slight cushion softening, or surface scratches).
  • Damage from misuse, accidents, improper assembly, or harsh cleaning products.
  • Damage caused by pets (scratching, chewing) or exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods.
  • Modifications to the product (reupholstering, refinishing) without prior approval.

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Email support@velvetandtimber.com with:
    • Order number
    • Photos/videos of the defect
    • Detailed description of the issue

  2. Our team reviews within 3 business days.
  3. Approved claims receive free replacement parts, repair service, or a partial refund (at our discretion).
